We have continued to build upon the significant patent and intellectual property estate previously acquired from Valeant Pharmaceuticals. We intend to continue to seek appropriate patent protection for the lead product candidates in our research and development programs and their uses by filing patent applications in the United States and other selected countries. We intend for these patent applications to cover, where possible, claims for composition of matter, medical uses, processes for preparation and formulations.

We will post publications and presentations that have resulted from Ardea Biosciences' proprietary research programs or through research collaborations with other biotechnology or pharmaceutical companies once available.
