Hiring Process
What to expect: From on-line resume submission to offer letter, here’s a preview of the Ardea Bioscience hiring experience:
Job Search
Option 1: (Recommended) Start by searching our jobs to find a position that aligns with your experience and qualifications. Once you’ve identified a potential job you are ready to apply. Click “Apply Now” and upload your Word or PDF document resume.
Option 2: If you do not see an open position that matches your interests and qualifications, you can use the function “Post Resume” to submit your qualifications into our applicant database for future opportunities.
If an Ardea Biosciences employee, consultant or temporary worker referred you to us, enter his or her name in the appropriate section. Once you’ve completed the on-line resume submittal, we will send you an email confirmation and start reviewing your credentials. If we determine that your background and experience meet the needs of the position we will contact you.
Interview: If after reviewing your information we think there’s a potential fit, we’ll set up an initial interview. This interview will take place on the phone or in person, and may involve one or several members of our team. You may be required to complete an employment application at the time of interview.
Next step: If there is mutual agreement that your qualifications match the position profile, we may need to schedule further interviews with other team members; otherwise, it may be determined that there is not alignment. We will let you know the outcome either way.

Offer and Background Check: Once we determine you’re the best fit for the position, your employment application is received and your references are checked; we will provide you with an offer letter outlining the details. Your offer will be contingent upon a clear background check and drug test. Results from your background check and drug test as well as your signed offer must be received by us prior to your date-of-hire.
